Hosanna in the Highest: The World's First Viral Moment
#
What if the disciples had Facebook during Jesus' time on earth and in particular during the events of Holy Week. Let's take a look at what "might" have been shared had this been possible for each day of this special week.
Peter created group "The Twelve ✝️"
Peter: Heads up everyone - Master says we need to go into the village ahead. James and John - he specifically asked for you two to find a donkey tied up with her colt. Bring them both to him.
John: A donkey? What for? Are we traveling somewhere else today?
Peter: He said, "The Lord needs them." If anyone says anything to you, just tell them that.
James: On it. But this seems strange. We usually walk everywhere.
Matthew: Wait...I just realized something. This fulfills what the prophet Zechariah wrote: "Say to Daughter Zion, 'See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.'"
Judas: Great, but let's be practical. What if the owner causes trouble? We can't just take someone's animals.
John: Update: Found them exactly where he said they'd be! Owner asked questions but was fine when we mentioned the Lord needs them.

Thomas: I'm skeptical. Why would Jesus want to draw this kind of attention to himself? The Romans are everywhere in Jerusalem right now for Passover.
Philip: Guys! You should see the crowd that's gathering! People are cutting palm branches and laying their cloaks on the road!
Peter: They're shouting "Hosanna to the Son of David!" The whole city is stirring!
Andrew: This is incredible! They're treating him like a king!
Bartholomew: Did you see the Pharisees' faces? They look FURIOUS.
Matthew: I've never seen anything like this. The children are even shouting "Hosanna" in the temple courts!
Judas: Am I the only one concerned about the attention this is bringing? The authorities are watching everything.
Simon the Zealot: This is it! The revolution begins! The people are finally recognizing him as king!
Thomas: I'm not sure that's what's happening here, Simon...
James: The Master just said something strange: "If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out." What do you think he means?
Peter: I don't fully understand, but I know this - today is important. Everything feels different.
John: He's weeping now. Looking over Jerusalem. Something's weighing heavily on him.
Thaddeus: I've never seen such a mixture of celebration and sorrow. It's like he sees something we don't.
Matthew: Remember the scriptures: "Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout, Daughter Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey."
Thomas: But what kind of king enters on a donkey instead of a war horse?
Andrew: A humble one. A different kind of king than anyone expects.
Peter: Whatever happens next, today the people have declared him King. There's no going back now.
